Classics in Amsterdam is an initiative by classical musicians who have been collaborating on various projects for several years. Our common goal is to offer a fresh and accessible take on classical music.

We believe that classical music must find new ways to connect with people. Many of us still experience a disconnect between classical music and the general public. Our mission is to bridge this gap through accessible programmes, inclusive values and shared artistic responsibility.

As a collective, we operate democratically: artistic and organisational decisions are made jointly and we share both costs and revenues equally. This collaborative structure allows us to be flexible, creative and sustainable as a group.
